Description

This course will prepare the student to take the State of Maine journeyman electrician exam. Throughout the course we will examine the following topics: grounding & bonding, Sizing OCPD, conductor ampacity, ambient temperature correction and bundling, voltage drop, sizing conduit, service entrance calculations, motor circuits and controls, trade knowledge, special occupancies, special equipment, special conditions, communication systems, electrical circuit calculations, and using the NEC index. Test taking techniques and preparation will also be covered.
