EDB 202 Introduction to Education – Schools, Students and Society 3 Credits
This course provides an overview of the field of education in the United States. Identifies the roles and responsibilities of students, schools and society and the relationship to the educational system. Looks at the various influences that affect education including political, economic, social, academic and ethical. Examines the diverse needs of students and their families while working as part of a collaborative team. (3 lec) Writing intensive course. Pre or Co-requisite with ENG 101.
