Description

HUS 110 Interviewing and Counseling 3 credits
Provides an understanding of therapeutic relationships by focusing on the current interaction or intepersonal process that transpires between therapist and client. Theory and practice of psychological interviewing for the purposes of gathering data and/or modifying human behavior including current theories and techniques of counseling and psychotherapy. Includes experience with interviewing and counseling techniques and the proper use of referral. (3 lec)
