Only courses that satisfy a Veteran student's academic program requirements as outlined by the EMC catalog, based on the student's entry year can be certified for VA benefits.  If a Veteran student takes a class that does not fulfill academic program requirements, it cannot be approved for VA benefits.  Veteran students can not "round up" their semester with non-required classes to qualify for full time enrollment (exception:  this is permitted during the student's last semester or enrollment in their academic program).
