Description

This course is designed to promote the use of photography as an art form with a concentration on expressive and aesthetic aspects of photography in fine arts. Students are encouraged to explore untraditional uses of the camera and promote original thinking through the use of imagery. Using digital photography in a black and what form, students will caputre images based on their own personal preference. Extensive experimentation is encouraged as students define their process for creating their images. Emphasis will be on the student's ability to manipulate and compose with light as a crucial element in the organization of space. Prerequisite: ART101 or DGD101
