Description

EDB 213 Working with Students with Autism 3 Credits
Examines Autism Spectrum Disorder. This history of autism will be reviewed as well as current practices in making appropriate diagnosis of this exceptionality. Strategies for supporting development and learning in all domains will be explored. An emphasis will be placed on social skills and language development. Various educational techniques will be explored. Prerequisite: ECE 216 or permission
