HUS 220 Substance Abuse 3 credits
Provides an introduction to theoretical knowledge and skills necessary to provide human services to clients who have substance abuse issues. Emphasis is placed on evidence-based treatment for addictions, resources and the impact of stigma. History and contributions of the recovery movement are explored.
