Scholarship pays for 100% of tuition and mandatory fees (less Federal and State Grants) at Eastern Maine Community College!
Funds are awarded to EMCC students who face an emergency situation or unanticipated and compelling circumstances that jeopardize their ability to successfully continue in school. Awards are not expected to be repaid.
The EMCC Foundation maintains and awards over 70 scholarships annually. Our scholarships serve students with high financial need, those from rural areas, non-traditional students and first time college students. The application is free and we can match you to an available scholarship. ALL scholarships require personalized thank you notes and some require an essay. Include as much information in the application as possible to promote yourself!
The Higher Opportunity for Pathways to Employment (HOPE) Program is committed to helping you reach your educational goals by helping cover costs related to school. Whether you are seeking a short-term training certificate, or an associate or bachelor's degree, the HOPE Program has the tools and resources to help you.
